Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at Saskatchewan Inc. as a key member of our culinary team.

Job Summary:

The Executive Chef will be responsible for leading our kitchen team in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a clean and safe working environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement menus, ensuring variety and quality of dishes
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies, managing inventory and ordering
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods, adhering to health and safety standards
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
  • Inspect kitchens and food service areas, maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
  • Manage kitchen operations, including budgeting and inventory control
  • Clean kitchen and work areas, ensuring a safe and healthy environment
  • Organize buffets and banquets, providing exceptional customer service
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with a focus on teamwork and customer satisfaction
Working Conditions:
