About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Coordinator Co-Op to join our team at Turner Construction Company. As a key member of our project team, you will assist in the coordination and execution of construction projects, working closely with our project managers and superintendents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in obtaining and evaluating project engineering information, including shop drawings and submittals.
  • Disseminate construction information to relevant parties, ensuring timely and accurate communication.
  • Assist in preparing contract items lists and monitoring field variations.
  • Ensure subcontractors understand and adhere to the job schedule and Turner's safety program.
  • Perform other duties as necessary or assigned.
Requirements
  • Working towards a four-year degree in Engineering or Architecture or equivalent.
  • Basic knowledge of building construction and ability to identify problems and recommend corrective actions.
  • Computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office suite programs.
  • Basic understanding of scheduling programs and contract documents.
  • Familiarity with lean methodology and ability to demonstrate leadership and interpersonal skills.
