About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at Turner Construction Company. As a Construction Project Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of construction projects from start to finish.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in Implementation of Site Safety Program: Assist in implementing and maintaining a site safety program that ensures compliance with safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain Document Control Process: Maintain a document control process to ensure that all project documents are up-to-date and easily accessible.
  • Review Contract Drawings and Specifications: Review contract drawings and specifications to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
  • Assist in Review of Project As-Builts: Assist in reviewing and preparing project as-built drawings to ensure that they are accurate and complete.
  • Assist in Preparation of Daily Construction Reports: Assist in preparing daily construction reports to ensure that project progress is accurately documented.
  • Attend Project Daily Huddles: Attend project daily huddles to ensure that all team members are aware of project progress and any issues that need to be addressed.
  • Assist with Implementation of Last Planner System: Assist with implementing and maintaining a Last Planner System to ensure that project schedules are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Maintain Weekly Work Plan and Percent Plan Complete: Maintain a weekly work plan and percent plan complete to ensure that project progress is accurately tracked.
  • Assist in Development of Jobsite-Specific Quality Control Plan: Assist in developing a jobsite-specific quality control plan to ensure that project quality is maintained.
  • Conduct Material Inventory: Conduct material inventory to ensure that all materials are accurately accounted for.
  • Review Testing and Inspection Requirements: Review testing and inspection requirements to ensure that they are accurately completed.
  • Log Actions and Results: Log actions and results to ensure that project progress is accurately documented.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as construction management or engineering.
  • Internship/Co-op Experience: Internship or co-op experience in construction is highly desirable.
  • Basic Understanding of Scheduling Programs: Basic understanding of scheduling programs, such as MS Project.
  • Basic Understanding of Contract Documents: Basic understanding of contract documents, including drawings and specifications.
  • Familiarity with Lean Methodology: Familiarity with lean methodology and its application in construction.
  • Good Interpersonal Skills: Good interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Professional Verbal and Written Communication Skills: Professional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
  • Proficient Computer Skills: Proficient computer skills, with the ability to use software applications, such as MS Office.
