Job Description

The Diversified Analog Solutions team in Ottawa has a 12-month Co-Op opportunity available for a university student starting in January 2025. The successful candidate will report to a Senior Application Engineer and assist with customer support activities, new product test activities, and lab testing of RF circuits.

Responsibilities
  • Assist application engineering group members with customer support tasks.
  • Participate in new integrated circuit and module product test activities.
  • Laboratory testing of RF circuits, presentation of results, and participation in customer SCH/Layout reviews.
  • Complete small projects and task assignments with varying degrees of complexity.
Requirements
  • Candidate must be currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
  • Familiarity with basic electronic circuits and principles.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PPT, Word) and able to quickly learn company-specific software.
  • PREFERRED: Knowledge of RF parameters (insertion loss, return loss, harmonics, IMD, IIP2/3, VSWR, NF) and experience with test equipment and tools.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and documentation skills, with a willingness to work in a lab hands-on environment.

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
