Job Description

We have a challenging opportunity for a University Student available for a work term starting in January. As an RF Design Validation/Testing Co-op student, you will apply sound engineering skills to a variety of tasks and project assignments in the area of electronics, design engineering, and semiconductor component test development.

The RF Design Validation/Testing Co-Op will support RF test evaluation of RFICs and multichip modules. Requires background in RF/microwave design. Knowledgeable in RF testing and RF equipment setup. Proficient in data processing and presentation tools such as Matlab, MS Excel and Power Point. Good data summary and presentation skills are desired.

Responsibilities
  1. Perform RF tests and evaluate results
  2. Summarize data and present findings to design engineers
  3. Be involved in design evaluation, simulation, and debugging of RF switches, filters, couplers, PA's, LNA's and FEM's

This is a full-time Co-op position that requires the ability to work for 12 months. The Co-op may also be involved in other tasks and projects as assigned by the manager. The student should be a self-starter and enjoy being hands on.

Requirements
  1. Must be currently enrolled in an Electrical Engineering Bachelor or Master Degree's program
  2. Strong proficiency in Excel and data organization
  3. RFIC Design and Simulation experience is a plus
