RF Application Engineer Co-Op Position

Skyworks, a leading innovator in high-performance analog semiconductors, is seeking an ambitious and skilled RF Application Engineer Co-Op to join our Ottawa team.

In this exciting role, you will be responsible for applying sound engineering skills to evaluate and test WiFi / IoT device components, as well as assisting in the development of new products.

Responsibilities:

  1. Collaborate with the application engineering group to provide customer support and new product testing.
  2. Conduct lab testing of RF circuits, analyze results, and participate in customer reviews.
  3. Work on small projects and task assignments of varying complexity, including device characterization and test environment programming.

Requirements:

  1. Currently enrolled in a BS or MS Electrical Engineering (or related) degree program.
  2. Familiarity with basic electronic circuits and principles.
  3. Proficient in MS Office and able to quickly learn company-specific software.
  4. Knowledge of RF parameters and experience with test equipment is preferred.
