Senior Director of IT Project Management and Delivery

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Director of IT Project Management and Delivery to lead our IT project management and delivery team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing large-scale IT projects and portfolios, with a strong focus on stakeholder management, vendor negotiation, risk management, and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the development and implementation of IT project management and delivery strategies, ensuring alignment with business objectives and goals.
- Manage and mentor a team of project managers and program managers, providing feedback, coaching, and development opportunities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders across the organization.
- Identify and evaluate external vendors and service suppliers, negotiate contracts, and manage relationships to ensure successful delivery of services and solutions.
- Ensure that all projects adhere to the organization's governance, security, and risk management policies, and that risk assessments are conducted at appropriate times during the project lifecycle.
- Lead efforts to improve project delivery frameworks, ensuring consistent performance and alignment with business priorities.
- Introduce new methodologies and tools to improve efficiency and project outcomes.
- Minimum 10-15 years of experience with IT project management and program management, managing large portfolios of projects, including projects exceeding $10 million in capital investment.
- Proven track record of stakeholder management and vendor negotiation.
- Expertise in risk management, compliance, and governance in a financial or technology-driven environment.
- Significant experience in IT project management, leading large and complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to analyze complex project data, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions.
- Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to build and manage high-performing teams.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
