Financial Operations Assistant

Job Summary: Hearthstone Inn Dartmouth is seeking a detail-oriented Financial Operations Assistant to support the accounting team. The ideal candidate will have experience with accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheet applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Data Management: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts receivable and payable, journal entries, and trial balances.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Process payments, manage invoices, and maintain relationship with vendors and clients.
- Bank Reconciliations: Verify and reconcile bank statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, highlighting key trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in a related field.
- Skills: Proficiency in accounting software, word processing, and spreadsheet applications; excellent communication and organizational skills.
Working Conditions: The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail and ability to multitask.
