Rental Service Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Rental Service Supervisor to join our team at H.A.L.T. HOLDINGS LTD. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our rental services, ensuring seamless customer experiences, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assign Sales Workers to Duties: Effectively allocate tasks and responsibilities to our sales team to ensure efficient operations and maximum productivity.
  • Authorize Payments and Returns: Verify and approve payment transactions, as well as facilitate returns and exchanges for our customers.
  • Establish Work Schedules: Create and manage work schedules for our team members to ensure adequate coverage and minimize downtime.
  • Sell Merchandise: Provide exceptional customer service and promote our products to drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Prepare Reports: Analyze sales data, merchandising trends, and personnel matters to inform business decisions and optimize operations.
  • Resolve Issues: Proactively address customer complaints, supply shortages, and other challenges that may arise, ensuring timely and effective resolutions.
  • Organize Inventory: Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records, ensuring that our stock levels are optimized and our customers have access to the products they need.
  • Supervise and Coordinate Activities: Lead and motivate our team members, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the resources and training needed to excel in their roles.
Requirements:
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
  • Work Setting: Rural area, Retail business
  • Supervision: 3-4 people, Elemental sales occupations, Retail salespersons and sales clerks
  • Security and Safety: Criminal record check
  • Transportation/Travel Information: Public transportation is available
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Fast-paced environment, Work under pressure, Tight deadlines, Handling heavy loads, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking
  • Own Tools/Equipment: Computer, Printer, Internet access, Cellular phone
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focus, Efficient interpersonal skills, Excellent oral communication, Flexibility, Organized, Reliability, Team player
