Job Summary

As the Legal Content Specialist, Blogs and Social Media, you will play a pivotal role in driving our clients' online visibility and generating leads through high-quality legal content. You will oversee all aspects of our clients' blog strategies, from content creation and SEO optimization to social media engagement and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive blog strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives, target audience, and evolving SEO best practices.
  • Oversee the creation and management of high-quality legal blog content, including topic ideation, writing, editing, optimization, and publication.
  • Implement SEO best practices to improve blog visibility and organic search rankings.
  • Review, revise, and edit blog content for grammar, punctuation, and style to ensure high-quality output that is error-free, polished, and professional.
  • Conduct plagiarism checks, AI content detection, and topic relevance assessments to ensure high-quality content; assess blogs for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.
  • Develop and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely blog publication.
  • Leverage data analytics to track blog performance, identify key metrics, and make data-driven recommendations for content improvement.
  • Oversee and manage a team of freelance legal writers, assigning projects, providing guidance, and ensuring quality standards are met.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Legal Content to ensure blog and website content strategies are aligned and reinforce the overall brand message.
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that amplify blog content reach and engagement.
  • Conduct blogging seminars and tutorials for clients to empower them to leverage blog content effectively.
  • Monitor legislative changes, significant cases, legal news, blogging best practices, and content marketing industry trends to ensure our internal protocols are aligned with the latest developments.
Requirements
  • Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) or Juris Doctor (J.D.) from a Canadian law school.
Preferred Requirements
  • SEO and content marketing experience, including knowledge of SEO best practices and current content marketing trends.
  • Digital proficiency, including experience using content management systems (CMS) and social media platforms.
  • Content strategy development experience, including creating and implementing comprehensive content strategies that align with business objectives and target audience needs.
  • Data analysis and reporting skills, including the ability to analyze blog performance metrics, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to inform content strategy.
