We specialize in helping law firms attract and retain clients through effective marketing strategies.POSITION SUMMARYAs the Legal Blog Director, you will be instrumental in driving our clients’ online visibility and generating leads through high-quality legal content. You will oversee all aspects of our clients’ blog strategies, from content creation and SEO optimization to social media engagement and thought leadership. Leading a team of talented writers and ensuring content excellence, you will play a pivotal role in positioning our clients as industry thought leaders.RESPONSIBILITIESContent Strategy Development – develop and implement comprehensive blog strategies aligned with our clients' business objectives, target audience, and evolving SEO best practices.Content Creation and Management – oversee the creation and management of high-quality legal blog content, including topic ideation, writing, editing, and optimization.Content Calendar Management – develop and manage content calendars to ensure consistent and timely blog publication.Freelance Writer Management – oversee and manage a team of freelance legal writers, assigning projects and providing guidance.Content Quality Assurance – conduct plagiarism checks, AI content detection, and topic relevance assessments to ensure high-quality content; review and edit blogs for accuracy, clarity, and consistency with brand guidelines.Social Media Engagement – collaborate with the Director of Communications to develop and execute social media strategies that amplify blog content reach and engagement.Client Training – conduct blog training sessions for clients to empower them to leverage blog content effectively.Maintain Industry Expertise – monitor legislative changes, significant cases, legal news, blogging best practices, and content marketing industry trends to ensure our internal protocols are aligned with the latest developments.REQUIREMENTSBachelor of Laws (LL.B.), Juris Doctor (J.D.), or equivalent law degree from a recognized Canadian law schoolExcellent writing and editing skillsAbility to simplify complex legal concepts clearly and conciselySuperior time management and organizational skillsAbility to multi-task while maintaining high levels of quality and accuracyEffective problem-solver with the ability to work without close supervisionAbility to work independently and as part of a teamPREFERRED REQUIREMENTSKnowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing trendsExperience using CMS and social media platformsAbility to adapt and thrive in a rapidly shifting digital landscapeBENEFITSRemote work environmentSupportive and collegial teamOpportunities for professional growth and developmentPlease apply using LinkedIn Easy Apply.
