Job Title: Stock Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Stock Supervisor to join our team at SVP Sports. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of our stockroom and ensuring that our merchandise is properly stored, organized, and maintained.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of stockroom staff, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Manage the receipt, storage, and organization of merchandise, including inventory control and stockroom maintenance.
  • Develop and implement procedures to improve stockroom efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure that merchandise is properly displayed and stocked on the sales floor.
  • Monitor and control inventory levels, identifying and addressing any discrepancies or issues.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure timely and efficient delivery of merchandise.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of experience in a stockroom or inventory control environment.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.
