We are seeking an experienced Building Automation Systems (BAS) expert to join our team at BGIS. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled professional to take their career to the next level and contribute to delivering exceptional services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients and team members, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement project and service strategies to meet annual performance goals and objectives.
  • Plan, develop, implement, mentor, and lead field team members in support of the BAS Manager, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
  • Contribute to the interviewing and hiring process for experienced individuals, providing guidance on training and development.
  • Promote the growth of the BAS service clientele through strategic partnerships and business development initiatives.
  • SUPPORT THE DELIVERY OF CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SCOPE AND SERVICE-RELATED DELIVERABLES.
  • Program and verify HVAC equipment via software and system performance, ensuring optimal efficiency and reliability.
  • Integrate building automation software with third-party systems via network connections, leveraging technical expertise to drive innovation.
  • Simulate system operations to verify performance using necessary software tools and techniques.
  • Test, inspect, and troubleshoot low-voltage power equipment and systems, utilizing advanced diagnostic skills to resolve complex issues.
  • Commission BAS systems, verify end-to-end, and report/resolve anomalies, upholding the highest standards of quality and integrity.
  • Provide commissioning verification checklists to Project Managers, facilitating seamless project execution.
  • Verify installation and operation of electrical and electronic equipment and systems, ensuring compliance with industry standards and best practices.
  • Perform inspections, tests, adjustments, and evaluations of low-voltage electronic components and assemblies, applying expert knowledge to optimize system performance.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Technician, diploma Technologist diploma, or Engineering degree in a related technological field (BAS).
  • Proven ability to self-learn and transfer knowledge to team members, demonstrating adaptability and a growth mindset.
  • Minimum of 7+ years related experience in BAS system installations, integration, and maintenance.
  • Certified in Tridium Niagara AX – N4, showcasing commitment to industry standards and best practices.
  • Strong understanding of HVAC equipment and control strategies, as well as multiple system integration approaches.
  • Extensive knowledge of BAS system installations, including network wiring standards and protocols.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, promoting collaboration and open communication.
  • Superior time management and multi-tasking abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and delivering high-quality results.
Salary and Benefits

Attractive salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, and opportunities for professional growth and development.
