Reliable Systems Expert Wanted

We are seeking a skilled Windows DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a Senior DevOps (Windows) specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of production and test environments.

About the Role:

The ideal candidate will have 8+ years of experience in the DevOps / Site Reliability space or a similar role. You should possess a solid understanding of computer science fundamentals, including threading, OOP, and more. Additionally, you should be familiar with software systems concepts such as networking, firewalls, protocols, databases, and more.

Your Responsibilities Will Include:

  • Developing tools and frameworks to enhance CI/CD automation using industry-standard practices.
  • Maintaining the reliability and efficiency of code delivery from build to production.
  • Automation using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, database fundamentals for MS SQL and NoSql DB's, Python or other scripting languages, C# or other programming languages.
  • Instrumentation & Monitoring tools such as Splunk, Loki, Zabbix, or Prometheus.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years' experience in DevOps / Site Reliability or a similar role.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Strong understanding of computer science fundamentals, software systems concepts, and software delivery practices.
  • Proficiency in automation using PowerShell, Azure DevOps, and other relevant tools.

Benefits:

As a Senior DevOps (Windows) specialist, you will enjoy a competitive salary range of $90,000 - $130,000 CAD per year. We also offer a hybrid work model that blends collaboration with the team in the office and focus time from the comfort of your home.
