We are seeking a skilled DevOps Manager to lead our DevOps Enablement team and drive the adoption of automation, continuous integration, and continuous delivery processes across our organization. As a key member of our technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our cloud-based applications and services, and for identifying opportunities for improvement and optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the introduction of DevOps practices by guiding teams in adopting automation, CI/CD processes, and tools.
  • Influence change at all levels, supporting stable, reliable, and iterative delivery of software to production environments.
  • Ensure effective collaboration between the DevOps Enablement team and other PHC Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to resolve complex problems that require deeper technical expertise or alteration to the software.
  • Oversee the transition of new software solutions from test to production cloud DevOps environment, and ensure thorough decommissioning and shutdown of software solutions when they are no longer needed by the organization.
  • Select and ensure deployment of monitoring tools to identify and address potential issues proactively before they impact users.
  • Host team meetings, lead team discussions, and collect input on the development of DevOps policies, procedures, and resource allocation.

Requirements:

  • A level of education, training, and experience equivalent to a Master's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field, plus a minimum of seven (7) years recent and related experience in an information systems technical environment.
  • Managing and/or delivering enterprise support in a complex technology environment and driving change especially in DevOps and Agile Software Development practices.
  • Continuous Delivery Pipelines, version control, cloud platforms, and automation.
  • Experience building and supporting CI/CD pipelines, version control, and automation.
  • Experience in Microsoft Azure and/or Amazon Web Services cloud platforms.
  • DevOps Certifications in Azure and/or AWS desirable.

Salary: $106,026 - $152,413 CAD per year, depending on experience.
