About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at AM PM Daycare Inc. as a Child Development Specialist.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that support and promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities by telling or reading stories, teaching songs, and taking children to local points of interest.
  • Encouraging Creativity: Encourage children to express their creativity through various media, including art, dramatic play, music, and physical activity.
  • Health and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits.
  • Observation and Reporting: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with coworkers and community service providers working with children.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain an environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children.
Requirements
  • Certifications and Qualifications: Child development worker (ECE level 2)
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player
