Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at ON D RISE DAYHOME LTD. As a key member of our childcare staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and engaging environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children, aligning with our daycare's mission and values.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities that foster learning and exploration, including storytelling, singing, and outings to local points of interest, while ensuring the children's safety and well-being.
  • Health and Hygiene: Guide and assist children in developing proper eating, dressing, and toilet habits, maintaining a clean and healthy environment.
  • Observation and Reporting: Monitor children's progress, identifying potential learning or behavioral issues, and prepare detailed reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Environment and Safety: Plan and maintain a secure and stimulating environment that protects the health, security, and well-being of children, adhering to our daycare's policies and procedures.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Certifications and Education: Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate or equivalent, with a strong foundation in child development and education.
  • Work Experience: Previous experience in childcare or a related field is an asset, demonstrating your ability to work with children and families.
  • Language and Communication: Fluency in English, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling you to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Work Schedule: 40 hours per week, with a flexible schedule to accommodate the needs of our daycare and the children in our care.
