About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team at AM PM Daycare Inc. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing a safe, engaging, and nurturing environment for young children to grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Development: Collaborate with our team to design and implement child-care programs that promote the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Leadership and Guidance: Lead activities, tell stories, teach songs, and take children on educational outings to foster their creativity and curiosity.
  • Child Development: Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral issues and prepare reports for parents, guardians, or supervisors.
  • Environment and Safety: Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment that protects the well-being of children.
  • Team Collaboration: Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1-2 years.
  • Experience: Experience is an asset.
  • Certifications: Child Development Worker (ECE Level 2).
  • Work Conditions: Repetitive tasks, attention to detail.
  • Personal Suitability: Dependability, flexibility, reliability, team player.
