Chief Business Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Chief Business Analyst to join our team at National Bank. As a key member of our Payments and Cash Management Delivery team, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with business teams and delivery teams to identify and prioritize business needs and requirements.
- Support the product owner and business line partners in decision-making and deliverables.
- Define the scope of processes to be optimized and proactively support the planning of activities for different deliverables.
- Lead workshops with multiple stakeholders at various levels and expertise.
- Model current and target processes based on mapping practices in place at the Bank.
- Conduct high-level and detailed impact assessments on all angles of the process and with expert assistance.
- Apply best practices to identify and write business requirements (functional, non-functional, informational, transitional), understand their linkages and ensure traceability.
- Contribute to the evolving roadmap in conjunction with the release's supplier notes.
- Define, identify user test scenarios (SIT, functional, UA) and support users in the operational transfer.
- Operationalize solutions within BNC operational teams involved in end-to-end processes.
- Make proposals for the change management strategy to the solution users.
Our team is a dynamic and collaborative group of over 2,300 experts who work in an agile and proactive manner to seize opportunities, stay on the cutting edge of technology, and improve processes continuously. As a member of the Payment Department, you will be part of a large team of 25 colleagues and report to the Senior Manager – IT Delivery, Payments and Cash Management projects and initiatives.
Requirements- Industry-related university degree and several years of relevant experience.
- Business analysis skills in a technology-savvy ecosystem.
- Experience in end-to-end business process transformation, change management, and continuous improvement.
- Knowledge of business process improvement and mapping: modelling, BPMN, lean approach.
- Experience with test scenarios and user support.
- Ability to think strategically, analytically, synthesizing, and communication skills.
- Knowledge of the Agile methodology (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence...).
English and French are the primary languages used in this role. You will need to discuss frequently with our service providers or partners who speak a language other than French.
