Job Summary

We're seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Delivery Operations Specialist to join our team in Quebec City. As a key member of our operations team, you'll be responsible for assigning routes to drivers, ensuring timely delivery, and providing exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign routes to drivers based on a weekly game plan and schedule, utilizing your knowledge of the area to optimize delivery efficiency.
  • Use your attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure accurate and timely delivery of meal kits.
  • Develop expertise in Onfleet, our live dispatch application, to manage delivery routes and communicate with drivers.
  • Collaborate with drivers to resolve issues and provide support, ensuring a positive customer experience.
  • Manage the schedule for contractors in your geography, contributing to the hiring process as needed.
  • Monitor delivery efficiency and facilitate communication between drivers and customers.
  • Represent Fresh Prep at our local facility, providing a friendly face for our team of contract drivers.
  • Assist in recruiting and training new drivers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process.
  • Proactively address logistics issues and escalate as needed, ensuring delivery success in your region.
Requirements
  • College or university degree (preferred) or high school diploma and equivalent experience.
  • 2-4 years of experience in an operational role, with a focus on last-mile delivery and logistics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse individuals.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Strong technical skills, with proficiency in Google Suite and Slack.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable vehicle, with proper insurance.
  • Transportation industry knowledge and experience an asset.
