Job Summary

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Analyst to join our team. As an EpicCare Inpatient Ambulatory Specialist, you will play a critical role in supporting the EMR system, working closely with physician leadership, nursing, and allied health teams to provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues, and enhance the EMR.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the EMR system, ensuring seamless integration with clinical workflows
  • Collaborate with clinical teams to identify and resolve system issues
  • Develop and implement process improvements to enhance EMR functionality
  • Provide training and support to end-users on EMR system
  • Participate in rotational on-call, integrated system testing, and upgrades

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a clinically related field; health informatics or computer science or equivalent
  • EPIC certification in Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Orders, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation an asset
  • Superior experience with MS Office/Windows/Visio
  • Experience working with Epic EMR (required)
  • Two to five years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems and EMR experience (required)

Preferred Qualifications

  • ITIL certification an asset
  • Clinical, professional designations preferred
  • Service Now experience an asset
