Job Title: EpicCare Inpatient Ambulatory Applications Analyst

Mackenzie Health is seeking a highly skilled and experienced EpicCare Inpatient Ambulatory Applications Analyst to join our Clinical Informatics team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for supporting the implementation and maintenance of our EpicCare Inpatient and Ambulatory EMR systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide end-user support and training for clinical staff on the use of EpicCare Inpatient and Ambulatory EMR systems
  • Collaborate with clinical leadership and other stakeholders to identify and prioritize system enhancements and improvements
  • Develop and maintain system documentation and training materials
  • Participate in rotational on-call and integrated system testing
  • Work closely with physician leadership, nursing and allied health leadership, and various clinical groups to provide end-user support, troubleshoot issues and errors in the system, enhance and improve EMR while maintaining system standards
Requirements:
  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in a clinically related field; health informatics or computer science or equivalent
  • EPIC certification in Ambulatory, EpicCare Inpatient Orders, EpicCare Inpatient Clinical Documentation an asset, or certification will be required within 3 months of hire
  • Superior experience with MS Office/ Windows / Visio experience
  • Experience working with Epic EMR (required)
  • Two to five years of hospital clinical and/or hospital information systems and EMR experience (required)
Preferred Qualifications:
  • ITIL certification an asset
  • Clinical, professional designations preferred
  • Service Now experience an asset
