Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Clerical Support Specialist to join our team at the Provincial Health Services Authority. As a key member of our Regional Programs team, you will provide administrative support to a multi-disciplinary team, ensuring the smooth operation of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clerical support services, including transcribing medical dictation, maintaining schedules, and entering data into computer systems.
  • Operate a multi-line switchboard, respond to inquiries, and redirect callers to appropriate personnel.
  • Process referrals, enter client data, and maintain client charts according to established procedures.
  • Coordinate and prepare client charts for off-site storage, and maintain schedules and event tracking.
  • Perform a variety of clerical functions, including typing, data entry, and mail processing.
Requirements
  • Grade 12 graduation from an approved program in medical transcription, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • One year of recent, related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Commitment to upholding the shared responsibility of creating lasting and meaningful reconciliation in Canada.
