Siemen Energy is seeking an experienced Performance Optimization Specialist to join its Grid Technology group in Oakville, Canada.
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per annum
About the Role
As a key member of the Grid Technology team, you will be responsible for ensuring the financial accuracy and compliance of our organization. Your primary focus will be on fulfilling accounting, month-end closing, forecasting, and reporting requirements while coordinating, reviewing, analyzing, and consolidating data.
Responsibilities
- Support Month-End Closing and Reporting
- Prepare journal entries, review ESPRIT validations, and clear miscellaneous reports
- Perform account reconciliations
- Quarterly and Annual Audit Support
- Financial Planning and Analysis
- Develop and enhance processes to improve financial performance
- Prepare various financial reports and presentations for senior management
- Other Responsibilities
- Support quarterly ADSTAR and other reporting requirements
- Act as a liaison between finance and other departments
Requirements
- Education
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Experience
- Minimum 5 years of experience in accounting and finance with strong analytical skills
- Skills
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills with knowledge of Alteryx/Tableau
