Your Role: Senior Solar Project Manager - Energy Optimization

In our Solar Canada office, a Senior Solar Project Manager - Energy Optimization plays a vital part:

  • Maximizes energy production and revenue by overseeing solar project performance.
  • Conducts loss calculations due to environmental factors to ensure projects meet their full potential.
  • Maintains data integrity, identifies trends, and proactively addresses project performance issues.
  • Leverages industry expertise to offer value engineering proposals that benefit clients in terms of functionality, cost, and schedule.
  • Negotiates contract agreements with clients and independent engineers based on thorough analysis and calculations.
  • Presents performance testing results and monthly or annual reports to clients and stakeholders.
  • Collaborates with manufacturers and SCADA suppliers while interpreting technical documentation.
  • Identifies and manages risk and opportunities throughout solar projects.
What You'll Need
  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in engineering, construction management, or a related field.
  • Deep knowledge of the solar industry and experience supporting solar project operation and performance.
  • Able to forecast project resources and staffing needs.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and Power BI, with a strong ability to adapt to new technologies.

Estimated salary range for this role is $120,000 - $160,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
