Our mission is to provide donated essential medicines, respond to emergencies, and strengthen local health systems through partnerships with NGOs, medical mission teams, pharmaceutical companies, and government departments.

Job Title: International Marketing and Communications Specialist

Job Summary: We seek an experienced marketing and communications professional to support our mission by developing strategies to grow and engage various audiences, strengthen our brand, and connect donors through all communications channels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Develop compelling digital content that aligns with HPIC's marketing materials, ensuring it is privacy-compliant and engaging.
  • Social Media Management: Manage and update HPIC's social media channels according to the editorial calendar, promoting our work and supporting fundraising efforts.
  • Email Outreach: Assist in designing, preparing, and scheduling automated external email communications, and track performance metrics.
  • Website Management: Regularly update and maintain the organization's website, including creating landing pages for campaigns and events.
  • Visual and Story Assets: Assist in producing visual assets using Adobe Creative Suite tools, and manage HPIC's photo and video libraries.
  • Data Analysis and Optimization: Leverage AI-driven tools and analytics to track and analyze website, email, and social media traffic, optimizing campaigns based on performance data.

Requirements:

  • Education: College or university degree in marketing, communications, or journalism.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in communications, including expertise in graphic design, photography, video production, website management, and working with WordPress and Canva.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and virtual meeting tools (Zoom, Teams), familiarity with business use of social media platforms, excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to handle confidential information.
  • Language: Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
  • Tech Savvy: Familiarity with AI tools for content creation, data analysis, and campaign optimization is an asset.

Salary: $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience.

Working Conditions: This is an office-based role with some front-facing responsibilities for external relationships. Occasional evening and weekend work, as well as local travel, may be required.
