Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Spare Parts Inventory Specialist to join our team at ATS Life Sciences. As a key member of our Spare Parts Distribution After Sales & Service team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient management of our spare parts inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and maintain accurate inventory data, ensuring data integrity and quality within our ERP system.
  • Work closely with the Spare Parts Warehouse team to coordinate items required for customer orders, prioritizing tasks in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to expedite items needed for urgent spare parts orders.
  • Track and coordinate spare parts required for projects, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing delays.
  • Monitor and maintain the Spares Kanban board in Jira, tracking tickets and ensuring prompt resolution.
  • Support the maintenance of Spare Parts metrics and KPI reporting, providing insights for continuous improvement.
  • Process internal and external SRMA's and customer warranty requests, ensuring prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Support action item monitoring and reporting with the Distribution Manager, ensuring alignment and progress towards goals.
  • Identify and implement opportunities for continual improvement, PSE, and 5S initiatives within the Spare Parts team.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Minimum 3 to 5 years' experience in an inventory or supply chain related role using MRPII/ERP software.
  • A post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management or Business Administration.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize tasks, demonstrating attention to detail and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience with Lean and Continuous Improvement concepts, tools, and methodology.
