Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced finance leader to join our team as a Director of Financial Planning and Analysis. This role will play a pivotal part in shaping our financial strategies and ensuring our commitment to excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead Financial Reporting: Spearhead the preparation of our annual (10-K) and quarterly (10-Q) reports, ensuring adherence to company policies, US GAAP, and SEC regulations, including XBRL compliance.
  • Monthly Close Management: Oversee the monthly financial close process, ensuring accurate account recordings, preparing reconciliations, journal entries, and insightful reports.
  • Audit Oversight: Direct the annual external audit and quarterly review processes, ensuring a seamless experience and compliance with all requirements.
  • Contract Review: Evaluate clinical and R&D agreements to ensure proper accounting treatment and alignment with financial standards.
  • Collaborative Internal Controls: Partner with cross-functional teams to design and implement robust internal controls over financial reporting, fostering compliance and accuracy.
  • Team Leadership: Mentor and manage a dedicated team of analysts, fostering a culture of growth and high performance.

Requirements:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Experience: A minimum of eight years in finance or a related function, with a demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams effectively.
  • Bilingual: Proficiency in both French and English is required, with excellent written and oral communication skills.

Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of $175,000 - $225,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as opportunities for professional growth and development within a dynamic and innovative organization.
