Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Wellbeing Leader to join our team at Shared Health. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of wellbeing initiatives, prevention strategies, and policies that promote the holistic wellbeing of our workforce.

Main Responsibilities
  • Support the development and implementation of a provincial workplace wellbeing strategy to instill a culture of wellbeing, psychological safety, belonging, equity, and meaningful connection.
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders, including Service Delivery Organizations, Occupational and Environmental Safety & Health (OESH), Shared Health, Manitoba Health, and other health providers, to provide psychological supports, education, and training to our workforce.
  • Lead the implementation and delivery of a Critical Incident Stress Response Program across a full continuum of services.
  • Provide strong clinical knowledge of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Experience and knowledge with the delivery of services and programs that foster equity, diversity, inclusion, and sensitivity in collaborating with Indigenous Peoples and culturally diverse populations.
Requirements
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience working in the healthcare delivery system and/or in a directly related role in healthcare.
  • Minimum three (3) years' clinical experience working within Emergency Response Services.
  • First responder/emergency management experience is an asset.
  • Mental health background is an asset.
  • Experience in providing the full continuum of Critical Incident Stress Response in both a group and individual setting.
  • Strong clinical knowledge of mental health interventions, trauma, workplace stress, operational stress injuries, psychological safety in the workplace, and mental health and wellbeing.
  • Experience and knowledge with the delivery of services and programs that foster equity, diversity, inclusion, and sensitivity in collaborating with Indigenous Peoples and culturally diverse populations.
  • Experience with providing psychological supports to individuals and groups, both in person and virtually.
  • Familiarity with Manitoba's public health care ERS system and services.
Education and Certification
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field (e.g., Psychology, Social Work, Nursing, Public Health, Health Sciences or a related field).
  • A combination of relevant experience and education may be considered.
  • Active member in good standing of an associated regulatory body as appropriate.
