Strategic Marketing Associate

The primary objective of the marketing department is to elevate awareness of Civica's capabilities among targeted audiences in selected markets. We aim to foster preference for our products and services, ensuring that potential clients and customers favor Civica over competitors. This effort is crucial for generating a steady stream of high-quality Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) for our sales team, thereby supporting our revenue goals.

The Strategic Marketing Associate will collaborate closely with our Canadian Technology division within Civica, managing the interaction between various marketing teams to execute the marketing strategy effectively.

  • You will excel in relationship-building and achieving results.
  • As a representative of marketing at a senior leadership level, you will be the primary marketing expert for your domain, responsible for developing, managing, and expanding the sales funnel while effectively communicating plans and outcomes.
  • You will possess a confident and persuasive demeanor, thriving in a data-driven environment.
  • This critical role within the marketing team demands strategic insight, commercial awareness, robust project management, problem-solving abilities, and exceptional communication skills, along with proven experience in stakeholder management.
  • Extensive experience in stakeholder management, particularly with senior leadership teams and C-suite executives, is essential for delivering successful marketing initiatives.
  • Strong collaboration skills are required.
  • A high level of numeracy is necessary, with a proven track record in budget management, including planning, forecasting, and monitoring MQLs and expenditures.
  • You should be highly analytical, making data-driven decisions and utilizing metrics and tools to guide your choices and present findings to others.
  • A background in Performance Marketing is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills are crucial, enabling you to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels effectively.
  • A proven marketing strategist with over 10 years of experience, ideally in the B2B technology or SaaS sectors.
