Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join the Shared Health team as a Wellbeing Leader. The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing a provincial workplace wellbeing strategy focused on holistic wellbeing, psychological safety, belonging, equity, and connection.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement wellbeing initiatives and policies to support the healthcare workforce
  • Build capacity in crisis response and mental health awareness across the province
  • Provide psychological supports and training to healthcare professionals
  • Collaborate with various stakeholders to advance wellbeing initiatives
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in healthcare
  • Clinical experience in trauma-informed care
  • Knowledge of mental health interventions and workplace stress
  • Experience with equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Collaboration with Indigenous Peoples
Education and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in a health-related field
  • Certification/Licensure/Registration
Skills and Abilities
  • Proficiency in MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Clinical skills in Critical Incident Stress Response
  • Knowledge of evidence-based practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work with diverse populations
Work Environment
  • Office environment work
  • Travel may be required
  • Evening/weekend work may be necessary
