About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Animator II to join our team at Electronic Arts. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in animation and contribute to the development of innovative systems and concepts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement cutting-edge animation techniques to enhance pre-visualization objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create high-quality animation content that sets industry benchmarks.
  • Analyze workflows and identify opportunities to improve animation quality and efficiency.
  • Partner with senior leadership to develop mocap shot lists and provide direction on mocap-related projects.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in mocap data manipulation techniques and evaluate new software features to increase animation output and efficiency.
  • Mentor and grow others through demonstrable excellence, critique, and guidance.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in the games industry, with 4+ years as a Senior II Animator or equivalent.
  • A comprehensive portfolio showcasing past work and highlighting specific contributions to each project.

Compensation and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is $181,900 - $219,000 USD Annually, depending on location (e.g., California, New York, Jersey City, NJ, Colorado, Washington, British Columbia). Base salary is just one part of the overall compensation package at EA, which includes:

  • 3 weeks paid time off per year to start
  • 80 hours per year of sick time
