Your Opportunity:

We are seeking a Culinary Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional dining experiences for our residents and guests, utilizing standardized recipes and production checks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare meals for residents and guests, ensuring dietary needs are met
  • Operate and maintain food production equipment and food preparation areas
  • Comply with all food preparation standards and health and safety requirements
  • Wash, clean, and store dishes, cutlery, fixtures, and equipment used for food preparation and service
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications or Skills Required:

  • Covid-19 vaccination is mandatory
  • Current Safe Food Handler's Certification
  • Ability to read and communicate effectively, and follow written/verbal instructions
  • Organizational skills and ability to work under strict time constraints
  • High standard of hygiene and cleanliness
  • Ability to operate related equipment
  • Experience working in a kitchen is considered an asset
  • Ability to lift up to and including 50 pounds is considered an asset
