Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Claims Adjuster to join our team at Wawanesa Insurance. As an Auto Claims Adjuster, you will play a critical role in delivering exceptional and consistent claims service experiences to our customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and ensure that customer needs are met in a timely and professional manner.
- Investigate losses to determine liability and ensure that claims are adjusted fairly and equitably.
- Evaluate relevant information from sources such as appraisers, third-party adjusters, contractors, and repair facilities to quantify losses.
- Coordinate services with vendors and service providers to ensure that claims are resolved efficiently.
- Adjust claims from inception to completion in a proactive manner and maintain accurate records based on company standards and policies.
- Remain up-to-date with legislative changes and trends in the insurance industry.
Requirements
- Experience in insurance adjusting and a strong understanding of insurance policies and procedures.
- Fluency in French and English and the ability to communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders.
- A Claims Adjuster Permit through the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) and a Commercial Permit through the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) is an asset.
- Working toward Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) designation and effective customer service skills.
- Strong investigative and analytical skills, as well as strong time management and organizational skills.
