About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Humbersys Consultancy Services Inc. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
  • Financial Statement Preparation: Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Perform accounting and bookkeeping tasks, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial analysis.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare financial reports for management and stakeholders, including financial summaries and trend analysis.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with accounting standards, laws, and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Proficiency in MS Access, MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, and MS Word.
  • Work Environment: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and work under pressure.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, judgemental, organized, reliable, and a team player.
Working Conditions
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 35 hours per week.
