About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Ste-L-Ar Business Solutions L.L.P. as a key member of our accounting department.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, as well as maintain accurate records of employee benefits, including health care, dental, and vision plans.
  • Financial Reporting: Prepare and present financial reports to management, including statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
  • Computer and Technology: Utilize accounting software, including QuickBooks, as well as Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Skills: Excellent attention to detail, ability to work independently, and strong organizational skills.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and will be required to work under pressure.
