Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning menu items, including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes, and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the highest standards of food quality, safety, and presentation.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
- Manage inventory, including ordering and receiving supplies, to ensure that the kitchen is well-stocked and that waste is minimized.
- Develop and implement menu plans that meet the needs of our customers and drive sales growth.
- Collaborate with other members of the management team to achieve business objectives and improve overall restaurant performance.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures, with the ability to maintain a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
