Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Kitchen Manager to join our team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen, including managing staff, maintaining high standards of food safety, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities
- Work closely with the Kitchen Manager to develop and implement kitchen policies and procedures.
- Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure they meet our high standards of food quality and safety.
- Monitor inventory levels and manage kitchen supplies to minimize waste and optimize efficiency.
- Collaborate with the culinary team to create new menu items and improve existing dishes.
- Ensure a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
Requirements
- Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
