Culinary Team Lead

We are seeking an experienced Culinary Team Lead to join our team at THE TACO STATION. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for leading a team of cooks and ensuring the highest quality food is served to our customers.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will have prior experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction and quality control. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff, ordering supplies and equipment, and maintaining inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food preparation
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standard
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food to ensure consistency and quality
- Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain optimal kitchen operations
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to optimize stock levels and reduce waste
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of quality
- Fitness for standing for extended periods and working in a hot kitchen environment
- $45,000 - $60,000 per annum, depending on experience
