Job Title: Kitchen Manager
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Kitchen Manager to lead our culinary team at Lone Star Texas Grill. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the daily operations of the kitchen, including menu planning, inventory management, and staff supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the preparation and cooking of our award-winning food, including sizzling fajitas, classic Tex-Mex dishes, and AAA steaks.
- Lead the culinary team to maintain the overall cleanliness of the kitchen and ensure high standards of food safety.
- Provide leadership and coaching to both full-time and part-time staff, including training and development programs.
- Manage the employee weekly schedule and communicate shift priorities and responsibilities prior to the start of every shift.
- Work with a team of managers and a regional director to manage and shape the restaurant profit and loss statements.
- Exemplify exceptional leadership skills using our core values of People, Empowerment, Results, and Coaching.
Requirements:
- Previous supervisory and hospitality industry experience preferred.
- Standard First Aid and Food Handlers certificate preferred.
- Lift items up to 30lbs.
- The ability to remain physically active and busy for the duration of your shift.
