HR Coordinator Job Description

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced HR Coordinator to provide administrative support to our Human Resources department. The successful candidate will be responsible for communicating policies and procedures, updating HR systems, and assisting with daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department, including communication of policies and procedures and updating HR systems.
  • Assist HR Manager with daily operations, including system maintenance, employee relations, immigration, and global mobility matters.
  • Assist with the maintenance of the company's Performance Management systems, including Performance Appraisal process, Progressive Discipline process, and Performance Improvement Plan.
  • Coordinate the Martinrea Orientation Model for all temporary and full-time employees.
  • Complete necessary administration to ensure employees are entered into HR systems accordingly.
  • Ensure all system requirements are being met for tracking of company training.
  • Identify and implement improvements for the HR department to ensure efficient and effective operations.

Requirements:

  • Completion of/or in process of obtaining Diploma in Human Resources Management.
  • Fluent in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent English Communication skills (oral and written).
  • Fluent in Spanish (oral and written) considered an asset.
