Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our team at Agilus Work Solutions. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for managing employee records, recruitment efforts, and health & safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Manage data entry tasks related to employee information and benefits accurately and efficiently.
  2. Develop and implement training programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  3. Utilize HR software for data collection, reporting, and analysis to support decision-making.
  4. Support recruitment efforts by coordinating interviews and facilitating a smooth onboarding process for new hires.
  5. Maintain up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.
  6. Conduct workplace walkthroughs and health and safety inspections to engage with employees and promote a safe environment.
  7. Lead joint health and safety meetings and evaluate monthly reports from the Joint Health and Safety Committee (JHSC).
  8. Work on various special projects assigned by the management team.
Requirements:
  1. Bachelor's Degree, College or Diploma in HR or equivalent with a minimum of 2-3 years of HR Generalist experience in a fast-paced environment. CPHR designation or working toward would be an asset.
  2. Proven experience in human resources management with a strong understanding of HR practices. Manufacturing or Construction business experience is a bonus.
  3. Familiarity with HR software systems, such as Payworks, for efficient operations.
  4. Solid knowledge of data collection and analysis techniques to inform HR strategies.
  5. Experience in implementing health and safety (H&S) initiatives and programs.
  6. A positive attitude and customer-focused approach that will enable you to deal with challenging situations with integrity, empathy, and sincerity.
  7. Excellent communication skills and a knack for building relationships.
  8. Strong working knowledge of and experience with MS Office suite.
What We Offer:
  1. Annual salary from $60,000 to $70,000 (based on candidate's experience).
  2. 2 weeks of paid vacation + 3 sick days.
