Job Title: Restaurant Assistant Manager

We are seeking a skilled Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team at Tim Hortons. This role will be based in an urban area and reports directly to the Restaurant Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Balancing cash and completing balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms.
  • Conducting performance reviews to ensure team members are meeting expectations.
  • Organizing and maintaining inventory to optimize restaurant operations.
  • Ensuring health and safety regulations are followed to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Participating in marketing plans and implementation to drive sales and growth.
  • Addressing customers' complaints or concerns to provide excellent customer service.
  • Providing customer service to ensure a positive dining experience.
  • Planning, organizing, directing, controlling, and evaluating daily operations to meet sales and service goals.
Work Environment:

The Restaurant Assistant Manager will work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and repetitive tasks. The role requires standing for extended periods and a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.

Education and Experience:

The ideal candidate will have a Secondary (high) school graduation certificate and 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail or food service setting. The role is a permanent position with a 35 to 44 hours per week work schedule.
