The Role

This is a hybrid based role, requiring your presence in-office on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. You will oversee defined aspects of Client's fleet operations, ensuring policy compliance and reporting. Develop and implement vehicle and equipment specifications, cost management programs, and manage fleet department budget. Build and maintain outside vendor and service provider relationships.

Your Responsibilities

  • Manage duties related to assigned Client's vehicle fleet program, enforcing fleet policy for efficient use of company-owned and/or leased vehicles.
  • In consultation with the Client, initiate, monitor, and recommend adjustments to the Client's fleet policy to maximize efficiency and profitability, reducing liability exposure and following industry Best Practices.
  • Escalation contact for Client's employees regarding company-provided vehicles (leased or owned) in matters related to fleet policy administration.
  • Maintain effective business relationships with Client personnel to provide recommendations for improvements in Client's fleet policy and its management.
  • Primary contact with key suppliers of vehicles and related support services, maintaining professional relationships that facilitate cost and service benefits for the Client while adhering to industry Best Practices.
  • Knowledgeable of, and advise Client on, fleet-specific regulatory matters and related fleet policy compliance.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a business discipline.
  • 7-10 years of Fleet Manager/Industry experience.
  • CAFM accredited.
  • Strong capabilities to effectively consult, influence, negotiate, and lead change.
  • Strong rapport-building and relationship skills with diverse backgrounds.
  • Demonstrated strategic thinking, project management, and planning capability.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with essential deadlines, juggling competing priorities and tasks.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written), presentation skills, and effective listening skills.
  • Fleet Industry knowledge.
  • Experience presenting new ideas to executive level.
  • Proficient in at least one data visualization tool (Excel) with strong data mining skills.
