Job Description for Truck Fleet Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Truck Fleet Supervisor to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in trucking operations and be able to manage a team of delivery drivers and truck drivers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare production and other reports: The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing daily, weekly, and monthly reports on truck fleet operations.
  • Supervise workers and projects: The Truck Fleet Supervisor will oversee a team of delivery drivers and truck drivers, ensuring that they are working efficiently and safely.
  • Train or arrange for training: The ideal candidate will have experience in training or arranging for training programs for workers.
  • Co-ordinate and schedule activities: The Truck Fleet Supervisor will be responsible for coordinating and scheduling activities for the truck fleet, including maintenance and repairs.
  • Co-ordinate repairs and rentals: The successful candidate will have experience in coordinating repairs and rentals for the truck fleet.
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies: The ideal candidate will have experience in requisitioning or ordering materials, equipment, and supplies for the truck fleet.
Requirements:
  • 1 to 2 years of experience: The successful candidate will have 1 to 2 years of experience in trucking operations.
  • Trucking industry experience: The ideal candidate will have experience in the trucking industry, with a strong understanding of operations and logistics.
