Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead our Transportation Structural Engineering team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing large-scale transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the successful delivery of these projects, meeting client needs, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and lead large transportation infrastructure projects, including bridges, culverts, and retaining walls.
  • Coordinate with clients, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project delivery meets client needs and expectations.
  • Analyze and evaluate design solutions for transportation structures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Provide technical guidance and direction to project team members, including engineers, technicians, and support staff.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation plans.
  • Conduct business development activities to secure new projects and grow business revenue.
  • Prepare and review technical reports, tender documents, and cost estimates.
  • Supervise and mentor staff to ensure professional development and growth.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with a strong interest and experience in bridge engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) license and 10+ years of experience in leading large transportation infrastructure projects.
  • Ability to work in both office and field environments, with a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Strong computer skills, including experience with SAP2000, CSiBridge, and SFRAME.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong interpersonal and presentation skills.
  • Able to work in a team environment, with a proven ability to supervise, direct, and mentor staff.
  • Demonstrated interest in business development activities and proposal preparation.
  • Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to direct a team and mentor technical development of others.
