Job Summary

You will be responsible for providing technical support to our team members, configuring and deploying new hardware, and migrating devices from Windows 10 to Windows 11. You will also be responsible for ensuring old devices are properly disposed of and maintaining an accurate inventory of hardware.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to team members via phone, remote support tools, web portal, email, and in-person
  • Configure and deploy new desktops and laptops, and coordinate with team members to migrate data and software
  • Ensure old devices are properly disposed of and maintain an accurate inventory of hardware
  • Coordinate the purchasing and delivery of hardware to our sites across Canada
  • Familiarity with supporting Windows 11 and Microsoft Office Online
  • Build rapport with communities, IT team, and service desk customers
  • Track and monitor end-user IT-related issues to ensure timely resolution
  • Install, maintain, manage, service, troubleshoot, and resolve hardware, software, operating systems, desktop PCs, printers, and laptops issues
  • Play a role in managing Office 365, Active Directory, System Centre Configuration Manager, and other IT tools
Requirements
  • Degree or diploma in a computer-related field from a university, college, or technical school
  • Experience in providing remote support in a service desk environment
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and knowledge of supporting iOS mobile devices
  • Excellent customer service and strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Superb attention to detail, time management, and organization skills
