We are looking for a highly skilled Labour Relations Specialist to join our team.

Job Description

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing expertise in contract interpretation and employment/labour law, as well as developing and implementing strategic plans for collective bargaining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and implementation of a strategic approach to collective bargaining across Eastern Canada.
  • Represent the company with regulatory authorities related to labour/employee relations.
  • Manage and improve payroll processes, ensuring accurate interpretation and summarization of collective agreements.

Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will require:

  • A Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Labour Relations, or HR Management.
  • 7-10 years of experience in Human Resources and Labour Relations, with progressive experience in employee and labour relations.
  • Bilingual communication skills in English and French.
  • Solid understanding of payroll, compensation, and benefits in a unionized environment.
  • Business Acumen, Conflict Management, Drive for Results, Managerial Courage, Political Savvy, and Strategic Agility.

Salary Range

$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.

Location

This role is based in Canada, with occasional travel requirements.
