Job Title: Event Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Event Coordinator to join our team at DELTA GOLF COURSE (2015) LTD. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and executing events, conferences, and meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute events, conferences, and meetings
  • Review bids and negotiate costs
  • Arrange for shipping, receiving, and storage
  • Co-ordinate and monitor conference and meeting activities and attend to related details
  • Co-ordinate set-ups, staging, seating, parking, communication systems, and other details for special events
  • Implement social programs, food and beverage, transportation, and other services
  • Plan and arrange for accommodation and transportation services
  • Plan and arrange for trade shows and exhibits
  • Develop registration systems and information materials
  • Research and design special events programs
  • Plan for VIP arrangements
  • Plan for social events and guest programs
  • Administer contracts for the provision of supplies and services
  • Plan and manage the facility's operations budget
  • Hire and oversee training and supervision of staff

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience
  • Excellent oral communication
  • Excellent written communication
  • Organized
  • Team player

Work Environment:

  • Multi-purpose facilities
