Job Title: Service Manager

Overview:

We are seeking a seasoned professional to lead our service team in Western Canada's growing agriculture equipment business. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in heavy equipment, particularly agricultural and farm equipment, and a proven track record of delivering exceptional customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the service team, ensuring effective delegation and supervision of staff.
  • Plan, administer, and manage day-to-day operations, including supervision of staff and work directed by team leaders and direct reports.
  • Ensure the bottom line of profitability for services provided, identifying areas of improvement and opportunity.
  • Maintain and ensure health, safety, and cleanliness of the shop and work environment.
  • Foster a positive culture that promotes open communication, mentorship, and motivation of team members.

Requirements:

  • High level of knowledge and technical proficiency of agriculture materials and equipment.
  • Previous service manager experience, preferably in the agricultural equipment industry.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire team members.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and labor and billing rates, inventory control.
  • Licensed Mechanic preferred, with experience with equipment brands such as CASE IH, New Holland, and John Deere a strong asset.
